Hot Rods Stiff spring.

My rear spring, a Posies super slide, is unbearably stiff even using only the bottom four leaves. I'm wondering if others have had this problem and what is a solution. I'm thinking of trying a Speedway medium arch spring that is designed for a light weight car. What is your opinion and experience. Thanks in advance!
