I joined the Hamb on 1-3-2003 and at that time I had 2 running Hot Rods and a project '54 Ford "Ranch Wagon".

Both of the Deuces are long gone now,

We still have the wagon and it's a driver now and of course I have 2 replacement Deuces.:D HRP

I joined recently with no HAMB appropriate vehicle but have since acquired a '32 roadster, Brookville all steel etc., somewhat traditional, but with the SBC and TH350 it's not ******** HAMB'ish.

Nope. I didn't get my 34 'till 2007. Car previous to that...well, there's a long list since March 2001 and they've all been sold to finance the next one.

Only the Roadster is left. The sports coupe is long gone now. I found the HAMB searching for SW gauge parts in 1999 to use in a redo of the roadster. I got the parts here but never completed the ch***is to use under this roadster.

I traded the 48 Ford businessman coupe for a 64 Impala SS. My next project is a 51 Henry J. I'm still loving the HAMB just a great place to learn and enjoy.

I'm still rocking the Kripple Kart, and probably always will. When I first joined she was still stock except for a flame job and probably still would be now if it wasn't for this place. Everything I had done to her I learned from here, and advice from a whole lot of good people helped me make what I consider to be the right choices.

LOL...thanx. My bro shot this pic (from his '47 Chev Aerosedan) somewhere in Kansas, coming back from the HAMB Drags with Mike Rocher (and his Morris) and Aaron Leeper (in his Model A)...ran thru a bit of rain for about half an hour...

Nope, added them up, TWENTY cars (all pre-64) since I joined in '05...
Several of them were traded or bought from HAMBers. One thing though, I've had a fifties era truck as my daily driver the entire time (with the exception of the Hummer I drove for about 3 months - my wife's idea - honest) First a bone stock '53 Chevy, then a similarly stock 55 F100, a hot-rodded '40 Ford and the '55 Chevy pickup I have now. I've owned it three years now, which is a world's record for me.

    63 Chevy II
    '28 Model A coupe
    '29 Bobber pu
    '55 Caddy Eldo
    another Model A coupe
    '29 Ford pickup
    Chopped '51 Caddy
    '53 Chevy pu
    '64 T-Bird
    another '55 Caddy
    '57 Caddy
    '55 Ford F100
    '40 Ford pickup
'55 Chevy pickup (my present DD)
    '23 Ford t modified
    '55 Buick Special
    Chopped '50 Ford
    '33 Plymouth coupe
    Yet ANOTHER '55 Caddy

and the '55 Chevy BelAir post I have now...

I really do admire guys who can keep ONE car forever. When my old pal and fellow Poorboy Sparky (Jalopy43) died last year he still had the Shoebox he and his father pulled out of a California junk yard over forty years ago... I hope his son will treasure it...

    RIP Brother...

Well, I still have 3 of the cars I had when I joined in 2005. I have had the 56 since 1996, got the 34 truck back in 2000 and the 64 Galaxie in 2004. Still chugging along on all three, only at a snails pace.:(

I joined Sept. 8, 2002 but was a lurker long before that.

I have owned the 32 roadster for over 30 years ...

and I still own it. BUT ... since it caught fire back in March 2012, it lays in the shop ... waiting for me to fix it.

Had a few GOOD offers on it to sell it. One fellow ... who I know who love it and fix it ... made a very generous offer, BUT my wife pitched a fit ( totally unlike her ) and said I would regret the sale for the rest of my life. She had told me I would regret selling my 40 Ford coupe and she was right ... so the Deuce Roadster just sits ... :(

Maybe one day I will get motivated and repair it. Grundy Insurance paid and I basically have no excuses for no fixing it except laziness.

Rejoined when the board was updated in April of 2001. I was driving the old truck then and I am still driving it today. It has been down many roads and down the strip many times since then. The years have not been good to it, but it is still fun. I have owned and driven a lot of other hot rods since then but the truck remains. It is next in line to be torn down and fixed correctly, but I do not think that will happen soon.

Still have what I had then and have ac***ulated more.

Sad thing is that one of the cars was a project back then and still is. Has come along some though. I have found much help on the Merc here at the HAMB.
