I bought the '29 business coupe right after joining the Hamb in '07. Finally got it driving after all this time. Over 30 cars and trucks have come and gone, but this one has stayed somehow.

First pic is day one, second one is a week or two ago.

I was building my T Bucket when I joined in '06. Then 3 months later a cop car hit it.

  7. Tfever Fred, I love your T, followed it from the start and when that damn cop hit it. I love that you built such a great car on such a budget.

Thats it parked next to my little sisters Falcon (Not happy with the new wheels though!!)

The car I had when I joined the HAMB was my 38 Club Coupe, I'm not that sad it is
no longer mine. I gave it to my father, the greatest father anyone could hope to have. Left me with my 28 RPU, that I did have to sell (**** VA) so I'm am a loudmouth without a car right now.

  8. Most of them.My join date says 11-25-2001 but I was on here before then;something about a screwup and having to start the listing all over again. On that date I was still undergoing radiation treatments 5 days a week for throat and lymph node cancer.Guess it worked cause I'm still talking about it.
My 55 Safari came to me in February of 1994 and is still putting along(got a new water pump yesterday)after 170,000 plus miles;a bit lighter due to the rusty rocker panels and still in need of a tuneup(just found the parts in my shop the other day).
My 1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am that I bought new in July of 94 is now my official shop truck and still has the original brake pads after 80,000 miles.
My 57 Safari came to me in 1996 or 97 and is still sitting in the center stall of my shop on jackstands. That will hopefully be addressed this winter.
My GMC Syclone pickup purchased in November of 1996 has found a new home in Tennessee(good riddance!).
My wife's 1972 Thunderbird(70k AZ car)was a latecomer;arriving in 2003 and has had about 500 miles put on it since then.Long story and not one I like to relate.
Still would like a flathead powered Deuce highboy but don't see that happening unless a rich relative(I don't have any)dies or I hit the lottery(which I don't and never have played).

Ken,I guess you know that Randy convinced me to join the Hamb but your wagon got my juices pumping and inspired me to build our old Ranch Wagon.

I do wish you luck in finding a suitable replacement. HRP
