My latest finds. A 51 Vicky from western Mt with ***le that was someone's hot rod/custom years ago. The other is an all stock 26/27 T roadster from North Dakota that included most all the parts and a surprise the motor's not stuck P1050598.JPG

I’d take the easy way out, sell the Vicky to fund the T;).

I know it’s the angle of the pic, but the T looks tiny behind the Vicky!

It's a great comparison of the advancement in auto design and engineering in the space of 24 years

Did you find them on a road trip or did you know about them before you left home? If you just found them what’s your secret to finding such good iron?

I looked at both of them last year but didn't have room on my trailer at the time. I've been bringing stuff back from out there since 07 and have made a lot of contacts during that time

Rick the T is solid I haven't found any rust out at all. It's a light surface rust most of which happened due to rain on the way home

Both look good. Both look to be great projects. The 51 you said was an old hot rod, any pics of the hot rod parts?

Maybe I shouldn't have referred to it as a hot rod. The kid nosed it, put in a floor shift, padded the dash, installed carpet and reversed the shackles. But I imagine to this kid in western Mt in the late 60's it was his hot rod/custom. The only "hot rod" part would be the floor shift

I like the trailer picture. What a difference 24 years makes - both cars were pretty much targeting the same market segment when new.
