Will stock Mustang2 suspension fit under the stock front fenders on a 34 Plymouth. Also are the frame rails too wide? Anyone have closeup photos to share?

With the price of a after market crossmember why bother with a stock cross member?

the track width of a MII is 56 and abit inches (hub to hub)... if you have stock MII stuff, get a welder series crossmember.. worth it then modifying a stock crossmember to fit your car.

Stock MII crossmember is 23" between framerails, 27" including framerails, and 32" from top of shock to top of shock. The one I have in my back yard does not have spindles on it, so I don't know the hub-to-hub measurement. If you buy a Fatman crossmember (as I did for my '37 Plymouth), it will be the correct width, and you can still use the stock MII spindles, arms, etc. Fatman also has a bracket to mount a mid-70's GM disc brake caliper.
