Stockton Wheel: Anyone else have bad experiences with them (like me)?

I custom ordered a set of odd wheels from Early Wheel Company, and had no problems at all. I wanted 6 inch wide, 15 inch rims, reversed with the minimum offset (don't ask why - I'm obsessive about wheel spacing!), and they came within a week or so, exactly as I ordered them. They guy I spoke to when I ordered even made sure I knew the wheels might not clear disk brakes on some cars.
I did not get them chromed, so I can't say for sure their chrome is good, but anything Stockton can do, they can do too, for the same price or a little less.

 

I ordered a pair of 4 1/2 X 15 plain steel which they said was in stock. Got them 2 1/2 months later. All I got was lies when I called every week. And they charged my credit card before I hung up the phone. That way they got you hooked.

 

stockton wheel is fucked. they dont send you what you ordered and they take for ever!

wheel smith in santa ana california is WAAAAAAAAY better. i've pulled right up to thier doorstep and had them custom build me wheels in a 1/2 hour!

 

HEY COMET! Why don't you print off all of these stories and mail them to the BBB with your story! As well as a second set of copies to Stockton Wheel so they know word is getting around quick on this. In fact if all of you guys who got screwed around money wise did the same thing you might be able to put some heat on them. Not that they care about people it seems but - let the 'ol dollar speak... In my opinion a better move would be to send a copy of this thread to the people Stockton advertises with. Letting them know that there magazine and advertisers are no longer trust worthy.
They deserve to die on the vine of bad customer service. Someone better will take there place.

That’s unfortunate. Those guys are real assholes to there customers and deserve something. I think I will drop in and see frank next time im passing through that lovely town.

Oh I did. And they took care of it. Full refund. Now my mission in life is to spread the word on how shitty Stockton Wheel is. If it was just me, then I'd say it was isolated and I was just unlucky. But look at all the responses on how many other people got screwed by them. And there are other threads here on Stockton Wheel saying basically the same thing. I have never had a worse experience with any company I've dealt with my entire life.

 

i still have 15x7 and 15x5 chrome reverse wheels and bfg www radials that need a new home.

 

what do they fit? what size are the tires,are they new,used? ( more info)

 

5-4.5 tires are used, the rears have little or no wear, the fronts have some wear. 165/15-255/70/15. also included are repro. merc. hub caps.
