Heard many Stockton Wheels horror stories over the years. I've used Pete Paulsen for special offset steelies for both our Model A's. Ordered the raw wheels, great price, they threw in import baldies, shipped promptly and shipping (via UPS) was reasonable.

Wow,that is so sad. He sounds like he was a great guy and a big contributor to his family and his community. How could things at Stockton Wheel gone so awry? I hope he's at peace now.
I used Weldcraft Wheels recently and was very happy with the price and service. I wanted two 17" steel wheels widened by 2". They charged $125 for each wheel and the work looks to be first rate. They didn't put my centers into new, wider rims, they actually cut the rim and widened it. Don't know if they are on the HAMB? They were quick too.
stockton wheel is up and running with new owner and management..just got a couple of oem made from them..with offset..no problem and the service was great.
