  3. early reports says there are 5 guys in the gang and they bagged a Peterbuilt ... and thats how the cops found the trailer-- it was setting next to the Peterbuilt in West Point ..
FYI all the new Diesels trucks have a GPS locater installed at the factory,,

seems they guys are very active right now stealing cars and trucks in the area ..

and they probaly forgot to vote .. argh

:mad:Son of a bitch, Now we have an "old car thief gang" to worry about around here!!! I say treat them like any other gang, kill'em & let the lord sort'em out!!!:mad::mad:That's kinda my general area... I travel between here & the Lodi/Stockton area near daily..... Though it is likely they came straight out of the Lodi/Victor area on Hwy 12 & took 88 towards West Point.... WE WILL BE ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR HER!!!!:eek::eek: good luck

Fuck this shit is getting ridiculous. I think its time to start we start executing these bastards ourselves just to ensure they'll never do it again.

  7. Thanks for all the input
    no sign of it yet

the Fuzz will be watching the ports I am sure ..

    will keep ya posted

I kinda feel they will sit on it and keep it well hidden till the heat dies down

they were after the enclosed trailer and got the 36 ford inside as a bonus and I don't think they really know what to do with it

maybe an hidden gps on the cars are good idea ....

and this car is owned by Jim Dyer of Lodi .... Dyers Chevy parts guys .. he is set up at Goodguys in Pleasanton today and tomorrow

There is someone on the Gold Country Craigslist looking for 36 ford front fenders & grille. Not sure if its you or not, but might be worth getting in contact with the guy who's looking if its not you.

    I agree!!!

  17. update --- still no sign of it or leads

note if you see the 36 -- it will have some damage in the front  because it
was not tied down in the trailer when they drove off and there is damage inside the trailer where it bounced off the trailer walls ...argh ...

when the cops found the empty trailer in in West Point CA it was being converted to a "gas stealing trailer" .. by installing huge tanks inside to park over the fill caps at gas stations to steal gas from the under ground tanks ...

yep it is not pretty out there and gun sales are up 18% and ammo is out of stock

I'd be checking possible car ditching places between Lodi and West Point. It's 56 miles but someone from the area might have ideas where a car could sit right out in the open and not be noticed for a while. Probably very close to where the tanks that they were putting inside the trailer came from.

My thoughts exactly. If it is not bolted or welded down those tweekers will find a way to steal it.....

Those tweakers in the foothill counties of Calaveras and Tuolumne which share border lines got lots of hiding places, both counties are very remote sparsely populated and big...lots of chop shops. Hope you find your car!

I use to work for Calaveras county road department and trust me there are lots of good hiding spots in that county. Best luck I hope it surfaces.
