A little Texas justice goes along way---around a rat bastard thiefs neck and over a tree branch. Neat and clean---clean off, that is.

I'm surprised none of these stolen cars are never seen in overseas car show coverage here on the HAMB.

I think the penalty for stealing a classic car should be much more than stealing a regular car. I had a regular car stolen once, but I had another almost regular car to drive so I didn't care too much. I would be pissed off until the day I died if someone stole one of my old cars.

No interior shots. At least not on my computer. Interior has stock bench seat, Hurst '55,6,7 shifter. Bel Air dash trim.

They need to be able to deal with car thieves like they did with horse thieves in times past.

Stealing a man's ride needs to be dealt with accordingly.

  13. Run an ad on CL looking for front parts. Like hood, fenders, grille. Crashed mine, desparately need parts. Maybe they stole to part out. Their thieves looking for money.
Maybe a friend of a friend knew where it was. So ask friends if they happened to mention about it to someone. and he told someone etc.

  14. Bob,did you know they arrested a guy (Dewayne Whittfield) in Oconee for running a chop shop earlier this week?

Might say something to the local police in Georgia. HRP

"The guy he took it back on trade from"; did he keep a copy of the keys? Any evidence to show the car was driven away rather than dragged into a trailer?

Yea-but today maybe one out of a dozen can drive one, you see all the time where some kids try to steal
a car and cannot drive a standard shift. It would cut down on the number of suspects though!

Agree, but i think it all boils down to money; "They" don't want to overcrowd the already overcrowded prisons..........
