Shiftymutt, tell the guy you really like the car and want to buy can he stop for you to see it,verify that is the car..and call the fuzz if it is or just start shootin...
That ****s, as above cut off the head will cut it down by more then 85% and no re-offending hope you can find it dude, someone here lost a GT350H Mustang at the weekend, I'm thinking thats in a container on a boat as we speak.....
i hope maybe he got scared by now pushing his luck and parked it for good. you'll probably get a call soon by cops saying they found it. this is what i hope.
Damn man, that's one thing I hate.....some chump who steals another mans ride. The sad thing is that most of these theives don't have a valid license and if they see the popo, they run like a bat outta hell. Nine times outta ten, the car gets the short end of the stick. When I catch these guys, I try to get in as much stick time as possible, as long as the camera's not rolling.....did I say that out loud. Anyways, I'll keep an eye out up here, but you'll probably find it in your town or the next closest. Guider
That ****s I hope you get it back in one piece! I'd also hate to see it in one of those TV free way chases. I keep my eye peeled in the south bay. Pogo
I disagree, It'll only reduce it by 50% or less. The same thief will now only be able to operate half as fast. Cut off both their hands!! This should produce a significant improvement, but still won't reduce it to 100% because they are still breathing!!! Once a thief, always a thief! Some need Darwin Awards.
Think he may have gone someplace out of the way and quiet up there to strip out the wheels and stereo? BTTT
i think when the *******s are caught, they need to glue his **** in his hand and the cut off his hands!! i hate thieves
low64 - Would you be willing to post the car's VIN and some trim tag information so we know it's your car case it pops up for sale (or, heaven forbid, is found stripped) somewhere? I reposted this to some an X-Frame and 409 board, so you've got some extra folks keeping eye open for your '62.
A few years ago my buddies 60 impala was stolen out of his driveway - the cops were no help. We made fliers and went to all the gas station chains in town, all the pizza places and other business chains that deliver food as well as fed-ex and ups. We dropped off the fliers and made this deal - whoever makes the call that leads to getting the car back gets, I think it was $150, whoever faxed or gave that person the flier gets $75. We had the car back that night. A gas station attendant across town spotted it at the pump - he earned $150, the clerk at the station by his house made $75 for faxing the flier to the other stores. Gas station clerks and delivery people see more on a daily basis than i think anybody else.
This is just ****ed up... like I said in my email Mike, if you find him, you should slowly burn off his testes, and then move on to the hands - I'll make the trip out from AZ to help with all of that... it's hopeful that someone saw it up there in Canyon Country though... Keep us posted on how it's going, and if you have any luck with the security cameras at Costco... Longroof
im real sorry to hear that. i may be on the east coast but it just gets my blood boiling when i hear somthin is stolen because its happened to me before. gettin **** stolen ****in ****s! i hope you get it back safe and sound.
Putting my flamethrowers on the SIDE of the car, like they do in South Africa. Gas station is a brilliant idea-409? Things gotta drink like a priest...
Man, I feel for ya, my 65 SS Impala got broken into and lots of stuff stolen, a second electric fuel pump kept them from getting too far before the carb ran out of gas. I hope you get your ride back.
Thanks for the help guys. No news yet. It pissed me off when I finnaly got a hold of Burbank PD the other day. I talk to the detective & gave him a plate # that a neighbor gave me, of a enclosed tractor trailer car hauler, that was parked down the street that night & lefy in the middle of the night. The detective ran the # and said it belonged to a transportation guy who carries movie cars & that he wouldn't risk his business to steal my car. He also said he was dealing with a stolen Hummer, 2 Hondas, & an Explorer. So he was doing the best he could.
