Man, sorry to hear about this.

Those of you whinning about him posting here, due to year of car, need to stop. Yes it is a Camaro, but not a typical one. Its a effin aluminum Zl-1 motor...The more sites it is on, the better chance of recovering it.

The link says his wifes truck was stolen last year and burned on a reservation. And this stolen trailor/truck is on one now. Thats messed up. Especially since authorites cant go on reservations... All I know is, if any of you are gonna leave a truck/trailor sitting, have an alarm and or hidden fuel pump switch. Both are cheap, and should be owned by all. Especially the switch. I wonder what them lo-jack things cost?

I hope the car is recovered, and the thiefs beaten to near death...Stay positive as much as possible

Hope you find it, and it's not destroyed. It would be a shame for that car to be parted out. Its going to be tough to unload that car without at least one honest person finding out.

    Exactly......****in people.

I hope the car is found, and not ****ed. This **** is getting all too common lately, it seems.

  7. Man that makes me sick. I almost cried when I read this. First the Olds/Hursts now this. If I caught the guy I would seriously kill him. I used to live in Regina Sask. and get stuff stolen by the Indians everyday. I also used to get serisosly beat up for being white. I hope your freind finds that car. I would be really sad if it got F***ed with. Good luck. Post it on all the forums you can.

********! There is NO need to remove the thread, OR apologize..
IF a car of mine got stolen i'd try everywhere i could to get help to find it!
I'm going to ***ume that most folks on here would do the same..

On a different note, the ***holes who stole this car must be dumber than the normal crooks..aside from possibly hiding it until it could be shipped out of the country, there isn't much that can be done with it. They have very specific parts that could easily send up a red flag if parted out..especially if the buyer's are even slightly keen on big block camaro stuff..it's not too often you will run across a '512' casted 427 block..
I seriously hope the car is found..
    Best of luck!!

Sorry for the loss its unlikely to be seen here in texas but if by chance id keep an eye out . as for lost hot rods this post leans me to look the other way the next time one goes missing . I like hot rods and every thing in between but hot rodders tend to be folks that wouldnt be of the standards i would ***ociate with ,the proof is in the previous negative posts . hot rods show up on other boards looking for help and get it when they go missing . c

After a few mins of thought ,I have spent the last two years gathering parts for my two seat edmonds modified streeter . and along the way i have met some good folks here ,and many more with so much hatred for each other and even more for people that just like cars in general . this post i guess is the broken straw that will have me sell all my parts and move on to other venues .c

This is NOT your typical 69 Gamaro! One of very few I would love to have O/T or not. These were high 11 second cars from the factory w/out all the bling, very rare high dollar cars even when new. I hope for a quick, unmolested recovery!

I too hate a thief. What I hate more though is all the racist ****ing ***holes posting **** [ not everyone on this thread ]. The recovery was near a Native reserve. Cayuga, which is the drag park the car was stolen from is near a Native reserve, just outside actually. There is no mention of a Native thief, just some people making presumptions. When I was young my buddy wanted insurance for his car. He took it to the reserve to burn it [makes the story more believable] It seems to be human nature to want to blame the minorities. The original story is not on a reserve and involves no Natives. Seems to be an awful lot of Native blame though. No I am not Native. Peter

Best thinking is, keep an open heart, keep the watch going and an eye out for nice parts on the internet or flea markets...

  18. It is a sad thing here that has happened. At this point it would be great for everyone who is responding to this to spread the word. I'm sure a lot of Hambers have friends who are Camaro oriented. A start would be to alert the Camaro restorers. I have very little tolerance for the civil disobedient and those who live by a lawless nature. I was the victum of the car hoodlums, first I ran an ad for a ridiculous reward and I got three responses wanting to collect, I agreed only after I got the stolen property back. It worked, they ratted each other out for the quick cash, after prosecution i didnt pay the creeps anything, plan your work, work your plan! If it does not work out for you rest ***ured that one day they will get what they derserve.:mad:.

As I understand, car has been recovered after owner offered reward. The truck and trailer are still MIA. Thanks for the support.
