One of my sisters had a party, and Im 95% shure thats when it was taken. Also stolen from inside the house then was: 2 digital cameras, a video camera, i-pod, and some credit cards....

And my sister cant afford too, and isnt responsible enought to pay for it... And the garage is at my moms house, so my hands are kind of tied.

For one, I buy all of my on parts, all of my own tools, all of my own everything, and have since I was 15 years old. But what really pisses me off, is these 2 items are probably near worthless to whoever took them, and it could take me years to replace the stuff even if I did have the money...

Im still hoping that I can recover this stuff, but my hopes are pretty thin...

I think these will turn up. I lost some stuff that I know went to a very bad place...

I was sharing a garage with a friend, two years ago. A few people moved out, including friend, and some strangers were in and out of the shop at the time. At that time, a few things disappeared on me:

    1. Four Moon disks, one signed by the Cramps.
    2. A heavily modified Holley Steet Dominator that came off a record holding, famous Super Stock car.
    3. A shift knob.
    4. An aluminum 58-60 flywheel (!)

For awhile, I thought I'd find this stuff, since nobody in NJ would want it, except me. So I put a reward out, and waited for the phone call.

Then I realized, it was all aluminum. It was surely melted down right away. It was probably the guys who worked for the construction company next door who had no idea what they were ******ing.

I don't think this is the case with your stuff. I'm sure the person thinks it's valuable speed parts, that can get sold at the swap meet for a few quick bucks. Of course, when the first buyer starts looking for someone who really wants it, there are about a half dozen of us Pontiac guys who will pay top dollar for the stuff. We all know it's yours, and it should make it's way back to you.

another scenario is the guy may be reading this. If he is, my message is : Please drop it off where it will be found, before we find you.

How about doing a little fishing.
Advertise that you want to buy those items,"top price"
    paid,by a friend that's in another state.
Greed has been the undoing of many great ***holes!

Thats not a bad idea, but its a matter of where to advertise it? Plus who ever took it may not even be into hot rods(or they might be...)...
