It's unconscionable that the police would file a report.

I agree with everyone that said to contact a local news team.

My dog goes where I go and your loss makes me sick.

Gosh...I don't even know what to say, other than I am SO sorry. My heart just aches after reading this post. It's a damn shame the woman who witnessed the theft didn't do anything to stop it from happening...couldn't she have yelled or made a scene or something?

I'm shocked the police wouldn't write up a report... you might want to try the police again...maybe a supervisor this time...could be the officer you talked to just didn't want to do his job. Check the papers for dogs for sale, pet stores, etc. Good luck...I really am hoping this has a happy ending...take care.

I think you shoulda been more forcefull with the Police...

I'd go down to the station right now and talk to the highest official you can about getting a police report filed.

I'd also call your insurance company and ask them if there's any help they can offer you on your Theft.

I'd go to the nearest branch of the Humane Society and talk to them. I'd also go look at the pound.

Was the dog registered? Was she a papered pure bred?

I hope you get the little******* back. I have an escape-artist of a Jack Russel that I've been lucky enough to get back all the times he's run away.

I gotta ask this though... Why was she left in the car?

There's a chance this 'scumbag' thought he was saving the dog. I don't think it was like that but it's just a different way of looking at it.

Again, I hope you get the little guy back. I know I'll never leave Sparky unnattended after this. Little******** would probably love a new family. [IMG]

Another thing I thought of... Was she fixed? When I first got Sparky, he wasn't and people were stopping me all the time asking if I'd breed him. Look for new puppies in the area in the next year.
