I have a 40 gmc pickup.... 4 digit VIN.... a bobcat trailer was stolen in Colorado, and 4 digits in its VIN are the same as mine..... Its got a 12 digit VIN, so..... Its a pain in my *** when I bought it, even after inspection, they release the hold long enough for me to transfer then its back on....

You would think in todays age, a 4 digit and 12 digit VIN wouldn't trigger an alert...

 

Glad to hear it ended well.

 

I want to know how it was found and in one piece. That's got to be a cool story.
