Just remember to have the hole dug before you go out. If you don't someone will pull up and the next thing you know your diggin holes in the desert all night.

No need for that. If you head up north of Wickenburg, you will find plenty of holes all over the desert floor near the Vulture Mine.

Don't ask me anything about my knowledge of the place or how I know this.

    Just accept it.

no leads yet, were hoping that someone tries to sell parts or something.

Rudy, (the owner of the bike, my brother, my club member) says that he is even willing to just let it lay, if this person would just drop it off and walk away. doesnt matter if its at a gas station, or in front of his shop, or in a grocery store parking lot. this is his child, and he is really broke up over it.

remeber fellas there is a reward, for any info. we really appreciate all the help, and the networking. you guys are great!

Don't need no stinkin' reward...........teaching them not to steal again would be reward enough.

You should have a someone put an add on Craigs list, or one of the other sale places looking for some of the parts from your bike.... Don't list any of the custom stuff, just stuff that you might recognise... Like "hey.... I made that scratch in the primary case when......" I have already recovered two cars that way... One of mine, and ane for a friend.... The person who stole it might even be someone you know in passing, so have someone else post it for you, so they don't recognise you.... Sometimes you can call the cops in advance and get them to have a unit near by when you go to meat someone to look at parts... That way, if it is the guy, call them and they will be there prety quick.... Good luck...

you say it was stolen from inside the store?

i was talking to a friend of mine about this and he thinks the insurance policy for the store should cover it since it was inside it when it was stolen. neither of us are 100% on this idea. but it might be worth checking out.

and i know that a check doesnt even come close to the real value of this bike any hot rodder would know that. but maybe it could get him started on another prodject. good luck with everything!!

    bttt.
Keep your eyes peeled. I know I will as I'm running around the Valley today. We can't let the thieves succeed. Success just makes them think they can get away with stealing again. Just think how you'd feel if something you valued as greatly was stolen.

  17. Sorry, the $199 unit doesn't do remote tracking, the $495 one does.

I'm putting it in the lead sled and god damn tempted to put a camera on it as well with cellular broadband so it can stream live feeds by the internet to my cellular PDA. May not go to that extreme but I will hook this GPS unit up and track it with my PDA.

A desert, a shovel, a 15lb bag of lime = 1 less dirt bag! I really hope you find this.

I hate hearing of this shit! I still have not recovered all my cars that were stolen last year either. I feel for ya.. Anyway, I have been spending a lot more time with bikes as of late, so who knows, something might make its way this far. You got some eyes in San Antonio.
    Good luck.
