Neeever fuck with another mans automobile, thats just plain suicide! Let it be a lesson to us all...to look out and keep an eye on the parking lot, for everyone's car. I would imagine this was a 'dare' from some dumb drunk fuck because he saw 'Tee' bolts. Sorry that happened to you. Count me in for the pitch'n.

    hey man sorry that happened...
loved your deuce- it was cool seeing you guys roll around in Morris...

still waiting to hear from johnny to see if that trans he bought at the swap got stolen or if Abomber made sure it made it in the trailer with him-

I made sure everything was outta my car- for some reason I had a feeling shit like that might happen.

  10. I'm so sorry to hear that, I've had this happen to me too. I hate thiefs. I love the deuce.

I just had another attempt of engine parts being stolen off of my truck this last friday at my new job. It happened between my lunch break, and leaving for the day.

To make a long story short, I had to have the truck towed home, had to install another starter, starter teeth were fubar'd. Plus my ribs on the right side were bruised with blood under the skin the size of a softball from pushing the truck out of the parking spot to be towed. I had the hood chained shut, otherwise parts from under the hood would have ended up missing again.

If I ever catch the motherf'er that did it, that person will either end up on a milk carton, or in a coma.

I'm sure its not the cost of the covers? it just turns your world upsidedown. Pure RAT SHEEET.--TV

  13. WOW! Rotten - really rotten! Just a thought, maybe next time you and some of the other guys could work it out where one guy hangs out in the parking lot with the cars for two hours & then rotate and have the next guy put in his two hours etc....that way there someone would always be there for security. By the way I really do believe in what comes around goes around - so somewhere along the line that dufus(es) will get bad karma. Let's get this info and start taking care of it. I'll pitch in some duckets.

I'm sure we all feel bad for him and have some kinda once upon a time it happened to me or someone I know story.

Let's get the pay-pal info and send some cash and hopefully someone doesn't take advantage of the H.A.M.B.er's sending money to his account and make enough to pay for 10 sets. j/k

How much are the edlebrock covers???
maybe we can get Nic32vic's paypal and let'em go buy what he had.
Which ever let him decide which ones he wants and lets do this.

It never even crossed my mind when I was putting those wing nut T handle's on my valve covers that someone would actually steal em, not once! But hell what can ya do? I did contact my insurance company and they are going to cover some of it I just have to pay the first $100. Too bad the show wasnt on Sunday morning and then I could have just gotten some cheapie valve covers from the swap meet! ha ha. O well, things could have been ALOT worse............hell the whole car could have been gone!!
Its just a shame that there are people out there that can look at a hot rod and think "damn I'm gonna steal that shit!!!" Where people like HAMBer's would just look and admire it.

I just got into work and checked this. I am hesitant because I have customers on the board. I don't want to step on any toes.
    But here goes:
$110 new in the box. I'm kicking in what I can and covering shipping. I still don't know for sure that those were Edelbrock covers, but I think so...

    Let me know.

I will chip in, too... but it sounds like your insurance is covering it? $90 for valve covers at AZ is a bit much

    Screw insurance then.

Thirtyfive, post your paypal and let's get this done. Or if you like, I will post mine, do all the collecting, and forward it to you.

Lildeuce can PM you his address.

$5. a head will get it there quick and not hurt anyone. Maybe we can get him the 90 for the WAY OVERPRICED temps?

  24. I've got no problem kicking in a few. Illinois sucks enough with all the state government thieves, let alone the local ones.

Anybody wanna buy our state governors? They're usually for sale. :D

On a serious note, somebody post a Paypal address & let's get it done.

I'll pitch in. If we end up raising more money than needed, maybe the extra could be sent over to Ryan....

I think people would feel safer sending money to a moderator than some yahoo... why don't you do it and PM me when we hit our goal.

  27. If he doesn't want em' I will buy them off you if you donate some of the cash towards another set of edelbrocks like he had...

I had a set of A/FX valve covers stolen from my garage a few years ago and want another set.

  28. OK lets do this thing.and the balance goes ta ryan.....works for me
