Oh you'd be surprised what a great thing it is to have a Ronald hangin with you and your pals.

First...he takes an arrow real well and he*****s in big heavy rounds at the range.

He is great if you need a passenger in the car pool lanes.

He tucks well into your bed just in case the mob is out to put a hit on you when you're asleep.

He's had a tough couple of weeks as having that orange hair is sort of bad right now but he accepts a nice primer brown and or a silver color of paint on his head so he can look fatherly or motherly and such.

If you get your girl liquored up you can paint his hair grey and intro him as pops she will feel like a part of the family. Put an apron on him and he could be Mom.

Since he is sort of tall he works out well if you are working late in a tough part of town.

His smile sort of*****s though but you can drill a few holes in his face or cap at it on the range so it will fit in Marlboros or a wisher sweet to hide that silly grin.

He floats too and if you put him on his back you can put a motor on his feet and use him to go fishin.

Good ole Ron. He's plastic fantastic.

My club makes this type of trophy all the time. If you don't come up with it. We will make him one. It can still be from your club. Paul Kelly (Pres) Gig Harbor Cruisers

I just found this thread and was amazed that the party in question was my oldest and closest friend Lee Hansch and his dad*****. Cool that he got the trophy back. Lee is one of the most generous giving guys I know. That Chrysler means the world to Lee's dad . He has Parkinson's disease and can't drive anymore. Lee had that car restored for his dad to enjoy and take to shows.( Lee drives) Very cool of the Camwinders to bestow the award on those guys. Good on ya!! I will save the pictues.

this just proves that hot rodders are good people:D:D

glad ya got the trophy back, should do a thread saying it is back where it belongs so everyone knows, not every one will look at this thread, but people need to know it's been found:):)

Glad all turned out for the best. Nothing better than winning best of show.
There is always someone who thinks a bad joke is funny.
Knew a guy that would go around putting lowball for sale signs on other peoples cars @ shows. Yeah phone # & legit signs just for the fun of it. I fail to see the humor with anything pertaining to someones car.
Got into a fight with a jerk ,back in the 50s, when he opened the hood of my chev vert so he could see the 270 jimmy stuffed in the engine compartment. NOBODY messes with my rides unless they ask first. I don't care who they are.

so...we have some unfortunate news...it saddens me to have to say but he passed away monday morning. He was a true hot rodder...and will be greatly missed. Just glad that we got his throphy back to him...it really touched him... The funeral is tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who showed compassion and concern.

Aw, that is really a shame. :( At least you guys were able to brighten his final days, and I bet he cherished that memory up until the end.

    RIP.
