For the locals, there's mobile/modular home park in Monroe (maybe technically Newport) called Kimberly Estates. That's at the corner of Grafton Rd and Telegraph and is a pretty nice looking place for the most part. It was behind one of those, pretty sure I know which one, I'm currently having Mrs Highlander try to get details as this a fwd from a local FB post. If it turns out that's where it was stolen from then all we can do is keep an eye out, if not then it's a lead. Almost certain I know exactly which house/mobile it was sitting behind. I actually thought to ask if it was for sale and planned to go back afterward, but ended up going a different way and frankly forgot about it until this gig started.

I'd agree that more than one person was involved in hauling that off. Quite possibly to haul out of the area to sell. Or someone with that model of Buick needed a grill and or bumper.

Cut off the finger, hand? Take the arm to the elbow then let them try to cut their steak or open a bottle of beer. If you're going to teach them, make sure they learn.

Does this include not saying anything when Wal-Mart checker forgets to scan your oil. Guilty:(

Thanks, that makes up for the stuff I've paid for that never ends up in the bag.

I did feel bad about it, believe it or not. Can’t really justify it but it is what it is. I’ve never done that anywhere else, honest to a point of being called stupid.
    :(

Back on track- somebody find that Buick.

  12. When we lived in Connecticut, we had a mail box that was hand made as a model A coupe. Some low life stole it, but we never found out who did it. If we had, we would have had them arrested, as stealing a mail box is a federal offense. We would have pushed the theft to the limits of the law.

Back when I was about 10 or 11, I got caught stealing gum from the A & P. They called my parents and Dad gave me a well deserved whoopin'. Never forgot that and it cured my stealing for life ! Concentrated on other "crimes" instead...but never stole another thing, to this day.

Ok update from my end, it seems the folks live where I'd seen it, yet I almost know for reals it was on the ground when I did. All of our Ohio brethren keep an eye out too, short hop to Buckeye State from here.

My mom was a store detective so I'd never dream of shoplifting. I was around 20 and went to pick her up from work... what do I see? One of my ex flames handcuffed to a bench waiting for the real cops.

I worked in one automotive shop, employee theft was rampant. They stole anything and everything. I never joined in on it.

    hope this gets found .

I had my credit card hacked in March, took quite a bit of money from me that month before I caught on. Cancelled the card did it two more tones in two weeks that followed!!!
    Simply stopped using my card.
Along with visa my wife and I launched a criminal investigation.

well turns out it was a guy I work with
    Hit me
3 other techs and stole cash and a phone from the office.

    charged
    Fired
    Deported black to Bahamas
Not allowed in Canada or the USA anymore
    I feel better about it

    Sgt - good point.
I keep tuning in to see if the thieves' head was on a stake yet.
