thanks for all your help guys it does appear to be a candy colour and the fact that it looks to be different colours under different lighting seems to confirm that, I seem to remember reading that one of the cars may have been a candy colour.

I have been collecting and making parts for what seems like forever but now the list is very short so if work dies down a bit I hope to make a start this year............ my latest purchase was a pair of magnesium 13 x 16 big window halibrands and double diamond tyres for the back and rocket launchers for the front ( the urge to buy a pair of kidney beans for the front is getting stronger......) I will post some pictures when I start playing.
