I'm building a Tall T that will be my daily driver on California streets and highways...its gotta be super safe!
    Which brings me to brakes.
I bought some Wilson finned self energizing backing plates and I have a set of Buick finned drums in great condition which I think will look sweet.
Is this gonna be safe?, some cats tell me to get the SoCal disk kit that supposedly hides the disks.
I love a period correct look but not at the risk of wrecking my ass cause my shit won't stop.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.

I have them on 2 cars and plans for additional sets on 2 more cars. Work GREAT on a lighter car like T's, A's and 32-34. They were adequate for a boat like a 63 Buick. Mine will stop on a dime...reels them right in.

  3. They work great, they will stop any light car a well as anything.
