Technical Stove pipe choke?

    Anyone use a stove pipe choke without the exhaust heat riser? And of co****, did it work

    My experience with Chrysler products is that it will take forever for the choke to fully open. We fixed a lot of them with the factory heat riser kit (rebuild kit).

    I figured that would be the answer. I’ll probably grab a new one. Thanks.

    Edit. Second thought, I’ll try it without and see what happens. I’ll report back

    Update, the choke is opening just fine without the heat riser
