This one came to me with a couple old GMC sprint car motors I picked up in Ohio back in the 80's. Doesn't look like its ever been hung on an engine.
That last one looks like some of the kinds of stuff Almquist used to sell. I think they made inline manifolds but they also sold cast parts so you could convert you stock manifold Flathead,inline,Olds,Cad..... I think the Wayne 12 port in X's second post is on a 216. Thats what the first ones were built for. Mist Green hasn't that thing burned down yet? I stuck up for you over there. Road Runner and Stove is the Inliners board down again or did I get booted? Do your mommas know you're hanging out over here? This is fun you can cuss here! You gotta' be careful though these guys will kick your laptop. It's kinda like Pleasure Island.
for what is the blue mcgurk 5 carb intake? is it gmc or chevy? my son has the same thing in silver and its for a gmc.
I bought an Ellis 2X1 stamped 270 but when I got it I found it had been shortened to fit a Chevy. Too much work to put it back. I hate it when someone screws up something rare to make something less than ordinary.
Can't speak for them, but I'm on Both right now. Could be your profile got messed up in the moove. Great lookin' stuff everybody.
Here's how it should have been done. This way it can be put back to Jimmy configuration. I got these pics from a fellow HAMBer. BTW its a McGurk 5 carb.
Yea,They are workin' on it over at inliners. I was on and I changed my email and ? The guy who cut that Ellis cut the log. Maybe it could be put back just by moving the end ports. I can get it back and see. I'm working on 2X1 Edumunds With Zeniths for my 270 to replace the Clifford 4bbl. I'd like to find an Edumunds 3X1,I've got 3 good Zeniths.
Question about the Fenton 2x intakes, are they 'universal' as far as carbs go? Can I use my two stock Rochester carbs?
If the manifold is a 235 yes they will fit.If you have a 216 manifold the base on the rochester from a 235 will be to large.
and a home made the Harper is really nice, high end pricing too. Hide the spray paint from this guy,and yes it does have 2 carbs included This was listed as Nicson and I would like to find out more about this. I've not seen any after market sidedraft manifolds. Is this Corvette or Nicson?Did Nicson build a head for the stovebolt? This appears so.
I would like to know more about that head. If you have any pic's, please post them. Any specs would be nice. Thanks
Well, a quick google search turned up this. Fuckin' Speedy Bill. http://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/Collections/Engines/E036.shtml
