    There is one for sale just like that by my house for $3500, probably about $1800 more than it's worth. I was thinking of doing the same thing, so it sounds like a kickass idea to me! [​IMG]

    only tough part might be setting up the steering to the stock box. the sawzall is you friend

    Don't be a boring turd just do it! I've seen the cars the Greazy Hubcaps drive and know you can make it happen. You've got five weeks to get it done till the HAMB drags!

  12. hmmmm...looks like I'm in the minority here, yet again. [​IMG] [​IMG] Not that it pertains to your current "dilema", but, I think it would look cool with dumps tubes as well, and run the exhaust out the back.

    Don't freak out about the steering hookup. You can build a column out of the original that will hook up to whatever box you use.

    I've done it, so I know you can too. All it takes is a saw, a grinder, and a bearing from your local bearing supply (5 bucks or so).
