I have a Holley 670 Street Avenger with 4 corner mixture screws sitting atop a stock Dodge 5.7L HEMI in a 1950 Ford Coupe. The car has a 2.5inch dual exhaust system with turn down tips. There is no crossover pipe. The engine controller is an MSD 6HEMI ecu. Car only has 1300 miles on it. Since the beginning, on cold startups the exhaust leaves big patches of black on the garage floor on the right bank only. The left bank leaves nothing but some condensation which is normal in this climate. I adjusted the mixture per 4-corner instructions several times to tune this out without success. I took the car to a pro rod shop for a professional tune which was generally successful, but the right bank persists in leaving big carbon patches on the floor. Any ideas???
The ***le had me thinking the thread was regarding a underwear clad crusader who was running around Canada stealing the fenders off pre '35 cars and trucks. I am disappointed.
Dual plane intake? I'd be pulling the plugs to see what they have to say. I suspect one of them will be washed clean, the lowest runner.
