Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING beats a good old 35mm SLR with B&W film. We still have our three setups, along with my wifes Rebel xti digital.

quality over quantity in this thread. :)

  6. WRONG !!! This is a extravaganza!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let that digital stay dead for a while, these pics are sweet!!!!!!!!! I dont think any digital camera gets the effects like your black & white FILM did here. I love it !!!!!! No wonder Terantino will only use film for his movies, there is just something about film that this new stuff cant match for pictures or movies.

  7. I know what you mean..I haven't used 35mm in a long time, since my point and shoot fits in my pocket and is a no brainer. It was a toss up between the Nikon and a Canonet QL17 G-III that my wife got me a few xmas' ago.Since both had meters attached,i chose the Nikon.I got to the show and forgot i had lost the battery cap to the Nikons Photomic some time ago.No meter, so i had to wing it..

  14. Maybe thats why Tarantino is one of my favorite directors? No,i'm pretty sure its because of the Selma H. scene in From Dusk Till Dawn..
