So its been a while since i have posted any show photos..Digital was dead,so i pulled out the old man,Nikon F 35mm..only had 1 color and 1 b&w roll,so no Photo Extravanganza like i usually post..sorry Thanks goes out to the Strangers for yet another awesome show..
Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING beats a good old 35mm SLR with B&W film. We still have our three setups, along with my wifes Rebel xti digital. quality over quantity in this thread.
WRONG !!! This is a extravaganza!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let that digital stay dead for a while, these pics are sweet!!!!!!!!! I dont think any digital camera gets the effects like your black & white FILM did here. I love it !!!!!! No wonder Terantino will only use film for his movies, there is just something about film that this new stuff cant match for pictures or movies.
I know what you mean..I haven't used 35mm in a long time, since my point and shoot fits in my pocket and is a no brainer. It was a toss up between the Nikon and a Canonet QL17 G-III that my wife got me a few xmas' ago.Since both had meters attached,i chose the Nikon.I got to the show and forgot i had lost the battery cap to the Nikons Photomic some time ago.No meter, so i had to wing it..
Thanks man..I love your car, first time seeing it in person...SICK! Meant to stop by the booth to pick up a new shirt design, but got side tracked. Are you vending at Skoty's show?..Save me a 2xl!
Ya...I'm vending at Skotys. I'll put your name on one. I have the old ones too....they don't glow in the dark like the last run though hahaha
Maybe thats why Tarantino is one of my favorite directors? No,i'm pretty sure its because of the Selma H. scene in From Dusk Till Dawn..
