I'm really going to try to get there. I've been running around the country so much I'm actually meeting me on some filp/flops lol. I was supposed to meet up with Gene Winfield at WOW in KC (he goes more than me!) today but a freak snow storm shut that idea down. I hopefully will just show up at the last minute. Thanks for the offer to shuttle your CGE Pacer around but the last time I drove that car, it scared me to death! That little 100 inch wheel base will swap ends before you know what happened.

The Pacer is not just another Kustom Pacer. Carl Green kustomized the Pacer in the mid
70's. I can not remember the issue but it was in HOT ROD magazine. Travis owns a couple of very kool Projects. I hate him ha, ha, ha, ha.........,

I owned a white 65 Chevy panel van that Carl had kustomized. Pearl white with some kool
kandy stripes that ran on the belt line. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow. Drove it for
years until a Lady ran into the side of me. She hit me so hard, it never was the same.

Sure wish I still had the van back.

Hey Carl I love your picture that is under your HAMb name....Very KOOL!! You guys hadn't
changed a bit. Wes Jones (the guy on your left) will be working over my skirts on my Merc.
Wish I would have known what was going on in your shop. You would have had to get a
protective order to keep me away. Lot of kool stuff was in your shop in Dewey. Wes is
supposed to round up some pictures so I can post them on the HAMB. I'll go buy this week
and see if he had the chance.

It is kool to know that you still have a car....LOL!!...... Very kool projects, kan't wait to
see them. I've been working on the shape for my new shifter. Hopefully I'm getting closer.....

I have issues, I admit it, I hate Pacers. Carl did some versions that I would
love to have and be proud to drive it. I would love to see the pick-up version.

Bartlesville is the Pacer capitol of the universe. I've never seen a town with so many...all those petroleum engineers who bought them when they were new and then held on to them and kept them in top running order for 30 years. When I lived in B'ville in '97-'00, it never ceased to amaze me how many were still being driven around town.

You can haul a couple spares with this one. I believe this resides down the road in Stillwater.

You know, that Pacer was featured in a number of mags in different forms. It was the first CGE Pacer (blue) that was built for Hot Rod Magazine 34 years ago, and the little pickup was featured in 36 articles if I remember correctly. In regard to the Dream Truck photo in my avatar, we restored that truck 30 years ago this year, it's just amazing how time flies. I'm really looking forward to seeing photos of some of the stuff I worked on in B'ville. We actually built quite a few cars back then, I think most of them were cars for the street as well as show. I'll sure be glad to see everyone again.
I'll try to find some other shots from that era to post (I need to work on that posting photos part!!!) Do you know if Wes still has that little Morris Minor Mini Traveller I chopped when I was there? I would like to see a shot of that.
It's great to be in touch with all the B'ville/Dewey gang again.

The Chopped Morris Minor is sitting right outside of his shop He was going to get it
road ready but he is still waiting for the right moment. I'll try to get some pictures
    of it and post them.
