Event Coverage **Stray Kat 500 May 7,8 & 9, 2010

We'll be there, in either the Terraplane or the Coronet. The rain killed it for us last year (working wipers are a must, fixed that little problem!).

I'm getting phone calls and emails from guys that have questions about registration
and wanting hotel info. We mailed out flyers (900) yesterday so you should be getting
them soon. If your not on the mailing list and would like to register for the show, just
print the attached flyer and mail it in.

Host hotel will book fast this year because we have people booking rooms two years in
advance. If you want a ring side seat call the host hotel today. We will also book out
the Super 8. It is the hotel right across the street from the host and it is a lot quiter.
Kool place to stay. Hampton is just north of the host and walking distance. If you need
more choices let me know....

Snowing here this morn as well...spring will arrive at its regular time...so, you're going to have to wait...besides, I'm still not done with the Caddy and I need those few upcoming months...

I won't complain about the snow any more.....At least until you get the Caddy finished.

 

How many car come to this show?

 

400 plus with good weather, last year it rained all around us, north Tulsa got
6 inches of rain that morning and we still had 280. We thought last year we
would have hit the 500 limit. Rain or shine we have a good turn out. We will
have cars from at least seven states an as many as twelve states. Show is
an open show but 95% of the entries are real Kustoms and Hot Rods.

Hey atchy....Jimmy Spears (gonmad) took this picture of your panel last year a the
feed. Your truck looks a lot better lowered. Thought that it was a kool pic.

I'm going through huge withdrawals, I think that I had the Merc out maybe once since
well it was before Christmas. I hope that we can guarantee that it won't show for the
SK500. Ha, ha, ha...

Looks like they may admit him to the hospital tomorrow for some more heart
testing. They did it already before last month so I'm a little bit confused on
why we are doing it again. I hate to think its because he has good insurance.

The 56 caddy is in the shop now and we will start getting it ready next week. I think it will make it. Now all I need is a catchy name for it......whoooooooo......gonna be green with green microflake and silver top with silver microflake. The interior is done and is green and silver zodiac. the guys in OKC did it at Universal Upholtery. They killed it. See you on a sunny May day soon.....
