Over the past couple of days I've been getting emails and phone calls concerning registration for next years SK 500. Flyers will be mailed out first of next week. If you need a flyer sent, send me your address via pm and I'll throw one in the mail. MAY 5, 6 & 7, 2006..... Dewey, Oklahoma...."STRAY KAT 500"..... First 100 entries will receive an Event T-shirt. this years shirts will be the old mechanic shirts. All entries will receive: Dash Plaque & the traditional old Door Prize and Bags. Friday: Historical cruise, Free Hot Dog feed At Dukes on Friday, Saturday: Bike (Bicycle) Build off, The Poison Okies, The Silvermen and The Rumble Jetts. Tour through the restored Victorian Dewey Hotel, Tom Mix Museum, Antique stores. Hot Rod flicks will be shown at the Tom Mix Theater. Sunday morning church service, Blessing of the rides and trophies will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday. Pre-entry fee $20 Additional $5 after April 15, 2006. Host hotel is the Weston Inn (800) 336-2415. I'm very excited about this years bands that we have lined up to perform. besides the Posion Okies, we have two new bands this year. You know I never seem to find enuff time to DO everything I want to do when I'm at SK500. I still have not gone to Tom Mix and watched hot rod movies or checked out the Dewey Hotel. Dangit! Mickey, you make it too fun for me to enjoy it! What's the scoop for the "build-off" this year??? I had such a fun time last year, I can't wait to do it again. This time we're coming prepared!!! Well Mick, The HOTEl SHEEP has a name. It's Betty. I brought her. Which was fine until Lil' Mike got a hold of her.... The real problem started when someone stuck that M-80 up the pleasure zone of Monkeys inflatable sheep. Damn that was loud. Or maybe it was the homemade phosphorous bombs made by duct taping a gross of sparklers together? Or the trench that Lil Mike tore in the asphalt wearing out Creepy's Wal-Mart tires? But yeah, the nearly naked thirteen year olds didn't help any. Is it still the same manager lady?

Yep the same manager is working at the hotel. I bet she'll make sure she is working days..........I was told that we had the hotel to our selves this year w/o the girls softball team. Who was the guy that was going to jump off of the hotel roof into the pool for $50?
Mick, SK500 will be my first show as a participant, it will be the De Butt (debut) of Poison my 50 Merc. I can't wait to see what we come up with for after hours entertainment. If we don't have softball moms (kinda like soccer moms but different) who will Lil Mike dirty dance with? it still makes me smile. FF
Hey Rev!!!!!!!!! I'm going to get more involved this year with the Bike Build off. So you will have plenty of power and the right tools. Also working on a kool prize for the winner. Last year we raised $400 for the Tom Mix Mueseum so the were very thankful. I appreciate "THEM" Tulsa guys for the entertainment. Happy Trails, Mick
Hey Mick, how about a "Bicycle demolition derby" on the side. Maybe at the hotel afterhours. I saw this for the first time at the goaway a coupla years ago. It's really fun to watch.
