for the kansas group, be leaving my place around 8 saturday morning

 

and for those wnating, they can meet at premier body and paint( south end of summit) and we will take nice backroads to dewey, plan on leaving about 9:30 from my shop, I think jack is meeting here with his crew, Dang mickey you best have a few hundred burgers it sounds!!!! can we bring anything ? jeff

 

OK heres the plan boys and girls, leaving my house at 8:00 heading to Jeffs shop in Ark City, be there by 9:00, back roads to dewey, and let the party begin! PM me if you need directions, the more the merrier!

 

I'm excited, gonna wash up the Galaxie this week and tuck her away until next weekend! Hoping to have a couple of pork butts smoked to bring along but no word yet from my BBQ buds, I may have to bribe them with a case of beer.

Wow, Mick, looks like fun!... Am getting ready to head to El Mirage for the last race weekend of Nov 13-14, but might just be showing up there for a dog and some hot rod fellowship!.. Love that Metro in the slide show.. A lady here has one just like it here, that she shows at car shows locally..

This would be about my last hot rod event for this year as I need to start staying home and working on my street rod...or I'll be driving that POS Mazda to next years events...

My first event planned for next year is NoSurf's Midwest HAMB BBQ in April.. Last year's event was my first there and had a GREAT time..

Am headed to Apple Valley on my El Mirage trip to look for a Memorial Brick at the Roy Rogers / Dale Evans Chapel, that I bought for my fiancee Theresa A Weber, who loved the old western movies.. Hey Guys, I kan't wait for this weekend, this is my favorite thing that we do because all
we do is hang out and have a good time. No entry fee, no trophies, just a bunch of real
Kustom and Hot rod guys hangin out. We will be there early but it will run from 10:00 am
to I think last year it went to.., well I went home at 11:00 pm. We will be blocking the
roads off in front of Travis so we will have plenty of room to park a bunch of kool cars...
We are prepared to feed a bunch of people but when we run out of food, we can't be
responsible on what we end up throwing on the grill. LOL!!

We will start eating at 12:00 pm and we will feed unitl we run out.. or so

Hey Guys, Ben Mitchell has blessed Travis shop with some of his kool monster art. Travis
has always had a kool place but his will throw it over the top. Just imagine 8 to 10 Ft
monsters painted on the side of Travis shop. I'm looking forward to parking the Merc
beside the building for a photo op...Very Kool!!

Duane, Wow your driving out from New Mexico just to eat a burger with some of the Kats?
Very Kool!! I will make sure that the Tom Mix Museum will be open and also the Dewey
Hotel will be open. If you need anything at all just let me know.
