Oh yea!!! I think the wheels look bitchin on the merc!!Screw skirts,I'm gonna get me some of those too
thats what im taking about i think im going to sell my new steel rims and white and get some for my olds lol
I about krapped when you started taking pictures, I thought Travis was there. Ha,ha, I had a blast last Saturday Jeff, Krobe and I got the chance to work on the Merc. We are in the process of fixing my skirts by adding 53 Ford gravel shields to the front of the skirt. Putting on stainless is a pain in the butt. Remember the saying measure twice cut once? I found that it is true with drilling holes. Oh well I needed four extra speed holes. When Jeff told me to attach the stainless, I just krawl'd in the back seat and was trying to act kool doing it. Remember, I'm trying to do this in Jeff Meyers shop and when you're a kustom Nerd working in Koolsville you have no chance of looking kool. Ha, ha, ha,.. This is what she will look like when we are through.... Thanks Jeff for the entertainment!! I had to get in the back seat to see what I've been missing out since High school. Just like High School, I was in the back seat by myself. Lol!! When I took the skirts off Jeff gasp for air and then broke out in laughter..... that is why the picture is kind of blurry. He was laughing too hard to take the picture. I'm thinking about driving it without my skirts friday evening, no maybe Friday night.... Man I have the ugliest wheels on the HAMB. I can't wait to mount my white walls on them. stay tuned for pictures..... When I bought the Merc the guy had them on the front and back with white letter tires. you talk about ugly... I have to run the front wheel drive wheels on the back because I need that much of an off set. One of these days I'll change out the rearend so I can change my wheels. When I get this done I'll give them to ya.. Happy Trails, Mick
There has been some great pix taken in Dewey over the years, hopefully some are lost forever. Pin stripping Randy Hammond 54 Chevy all night with magic markers, the 16 year old cop raid, bar room brawl ( don't remember how was involved in that), parking lot at the host hotel Sunday morning, plus all the kool rides!Skirts look great!
We had a good time. One of the highlights was driving Jeff's El Camino to the parts store and watching his kids face as we drove by in Daddys truck..Jeff is one of the best builders in the country and Ive had fun over the years watching him build his projects. Hisnew chop top project will be heading to Austin next week and it is way too kool. Probably the best chopped fast back that I've seen. Police are already posting your picture around town....ha, ha, ha, ha Happy Trails, Mick
1. Peek-a-boo, best played with small children 2. The try to hold down breakfast game 3. The "I seem to have misplaced my girlfriend game" Mick, that car just keeps looking better and better. See you in about a month!
Thank you Mr. Gordon, my goal is to be a kool as you. My name for the game, "Find the nut" My face being red was flash burn. It seemed like everytime I looked up, I had a flash going off. Happy Trails, Mick
I still do a double take when I see pictures of your "New" car. Going to look good with the new trim.
Thanks Tyler, I can't believe it is the same Merc either. Ralph did a heck of a job making my vision a reality. I'm very thankful. Getting the skirts finished gets me one step closer for paint. One of these days.. Happy Trails, Mick
Ha, ha, ha Remember Ken I can eat anything, I ate your chilli last year. LOL! Oh man, I wish I had a bowl of it for lunch.
You guys have too much fun over there. I keep trying to get Duncan to come over and sand on the furniture.....something about a bad shoulder. LOL. Looking like I'm not gonna make it over this year....the building is supposed to be finished right at the same time and I have to move in. Things might change though....holding out hope. I'll be bummed to miss your new skirts.
Look forward to seeing ya guys......Kool to hear the building is working out for ya. We will be driving through town Mid-July and I plan on stopping by for some pictures. I'm sure that My kids kan't wait to hear we are going to tour your office. Yeah!! I know what is under my skirt so I never peak under skirts. Maybe scary what you will see. See ya next Month Dave! Happy Trails, Mick
Had a major good time at Jeff's shop. Best part was helping Mick "work" on his Merc (not the first time, believe it or not...).
