Couldn't be happier, the straykat boys made there own personal pick trophys and I was lucky enough to get one..... made my day.
A big thanks to Mick and the rest of his gang for selecting a perfect site and putting on a great show. The weather, the people, the cars were all great. A very laid back time with just good old boys, no power parking, drama or over-crowded parking and show areas, just a good time and to top it off the Rumblejetts played two great sets.
Met some very cool people and had breakfast with and hung out a good part of the day with Roger and Dan Jetter (40studedude) really enjoyed the conversation guys.
Took a few pics of not only the cars but also the planes and a few from inside the museum. I missed the garage crawl that sounded like alot of fun also, but I'll be back next year and I will be there in time for the crawl.
The first picture is of the trophy they gave me. Gary (click the thumbs to enlarge)

Looked your wagon over pretty well today, nice ride, well deserved award.

Oh, and hanging out with the Jetters can be bad for your reputation. LOL Just kidding, great fellas.

Last bunch, inside the museum, could have spent alot more time in here and you could also go up in the control tower.

Thanks for posting (I couldn't remember your screen name) Great job on the trophy it is setting on the hearth in my family room. Was good to meet you and I feel the same about your longroof. Didn't make the garage crawl. Gary

Great Lookin award for a great ol Wagon! The Specialty awards were quite unique, All Mick's awards are, but the specialties at this show were above and beyond. Congrats to you.

Congrats Gary. Love the venue. Can't beat old cars and old planes together like that. I couldn't come because of another obligation. I like hanging out with the Jetters too. They've got some cool Caddys. <center>

Super cool Bro, I knew it was going to be hip with the rods and customs and the awesome aircraft. Cool setting for the Rumblejetts for sure. The award for your neato wagon is well deserved. Looks like another premium midwest event is happening. Thanx for sharing the pix. ~Sololobo~

Thanks GV it felt really good to get picked with all the cool cars that were there. The Jetters are a hoot had fun talking with them

I feel the same way about them early Vette's. Bob K has one of my favorites.

Would have been fun to have you along. The trophys gonna have to sit in the family room for awile. Where I can just look at it.

Thanks for the nice comments. I happen to know where theres a nice award winning longroof for sale:D

Right back at ya Travis, hope to make it to the Dewey show sometime and check out your shop.

You would have really liked this show. Judy said she saw you in your wagon heading cross town saturday.

I don't have any more. It belongs to Don Beason from right there in Whitcha. I'm pretty sure Gary Gerberding from the "Body Shop" in Grand Island built it. A gorgeous car

I was hoping Mcphail would have his 60 ford there, but never saw him. I did get to talk with Jeff Meyers for a bit and he had his cool-*** Caddy there but left before I could get a pic.

good for you, Gary. Well-deserved. I am so happy that you still have the wagon. I looked at a late model Corvette yesterday and thought of you...I just can't put the two together. Not up to me, though. Way to go!
