Projects Street rodded ‘40 Ford pickup freshening

  1. I've seen plastic plugs used for shipping and storage left in the pump hose ******. That always stops flow dead in it's tracks. It's usually the simple **** that screws ya up the worst.

    Blockage in cooling system was in the lower return tube, looked like the inside of the hose was breaking down, delaminating and jammed up in the spring that's supposed to keep it open. New lower hose & all good. Flows good pump works. Waiting on new gas tank then out for the first ride :)

    Cancel the lowering blocks they will not help. front and rear axles are under the springs.

    Fill the system with coolant, install the cap and let it run for a bit and see what happens, maybe even go for a drive. Depending on the design of the radiator, you may or may not be able to see coolant moving and the cap is there to keep coolant from gushing out.

    No need troubleshooting an issue that may not exist.
