Well, it might make you think to do a bolt check. Raising awareness and "enlightening" people doesn't hurt anyone.
Someone said it was the maiden voyage. We need to remember to tripple check everything on our cars. It is so easy to get in a hurry when getting toward the end of a build. Im not saying they did anything wrong, But I know I did. I got home alright from my first trip, but what I found was really stupid on my part and could have been bad. Glad they were all right.
Nowhere does the post say that mechanical negligence caused the mishap. Would kinda be helpful in the "enlightenment" process if you ask me. Still, I don't take pleasure in misfortunes of others. Walk away wreck or not.
In this thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=820321&page=2 32v posted this. <HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #e5e5e5; COLOR: #e5e5e5" SIZE=1> <!-- / icon and ***le --><!-- message --> we traveled down with ray , on his way home something locked up, trans or rear, car went sideways and guy behind ran over the front fender ray and joe are all right .car can be fixed
It must have caught your attention because you read it.......I too am sorry to see what happened and that everyone was okay. Could have been a Semi behind him!!
There are some narrow skid marks behind the car... Good thing everyone was OK....its metal...it can be fixed
That looks like Hwy 167; if it is, that's a HEAVILY traveled roadway, and I hate it. What a mess the car's in, but good the people are OK. Butch/56sedandelivery.
Holy cow! Sorry to see and hear about this. So glad everyone survived. Obviously it could have been way worse. It would be good to hear what actually caused the chain reaction. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Wow, holy chit that is bad. Glad everyone is ok, but a shame to see a nice car like that screwed up. As much as I love driving my car I HATE interstates. Cars and huge trailer trucks buzzing past you, and most times your car is about as high as their tires........all 18 of them. So many bad things can happen that we have no way of foreseeing. Don
