A couple of Hambers cars are shown in the Nat's South coverage from Knoxville,Tennessee this month, Gary's black Model A highboy on deuce rails and Brenda's Ranch Wagon.

Always nice to see photo's in any publication.

My photos of photos doesn't do any justice to the cars, they look much better in print. HRP

I had gone up on the hill where you normally park to say hello and never did see the car until awards presentation. Like many now I only have so much “walking” in me these days.
    Great pic,love your wagon.

My little girl made it in there three times. Once in her pedal car stroller we built for her. Cool seeing Gary's car in there and the wagon.

Danny , I know what your trying to explain . I rode the old Shovel to breakfast with the Hot Rod Buds , returned and mowed my parents grass . 3 acres bouncing on the tractor . I’m in screaming pain this evening . Good luck with the pain issues , also . No one understands , until you live with it daily .

In the latest issue the "haystack hunt 39 Chevrolet convertible" seems to be in the Michigan Hot Rod Repair Shop ad!:D I'm looking high and low for the car and it comes out in an ad in Streetscene!
Gotta check with the owner that we tracked down with help from a Hamber.;)
BTW, there are not any better folks anywhere than the fine folks that volunteer to help others all the time.
They helped me at York one year.

Danny, we really gotta try to stop getting hurt. We've got enough aches as it is.
The wagon looks great. Nice to see it get some attention.
I did NOT realize that it was Brenda's grandmother's car. Wow, extra neat.
I hope you feel way better way soon.

I too have benefited from the guys with the Michigan Hot Rod Shop from the use of tools and jack stands to physical help replacing a stop light switch when my arm was in a sling, they are there to help and I appreciate what they have done for me and others, I gladly put a donation in their jar every year wither I use their service or not. Yes Rick, Brenda's Grandmama Jessie, as she was known by everyone in town, bought the '54 Ranch Wagon off the show room floor right here in Anderson,South Carolina from Blue Ridge Motors and used the wagon for her Flower Shop and personal use. HRP

Brenda... What a heartwarming realization that this was your grandmother's car, she used it to deliver flowers, and you work with flowers as well.
It somehow helps to make the world seem right.
And now I'm happy to fully understand why you and Danny gave the old Ford such loving care.

Thank you, the wagon was always a part of my life, I learn how to drive in the wagon and delivered flowers for Momma Jessie, she even let Danny use it to haul band equipment after his dad's wagon was wrecked.

I thought when Danny put the wagon in the barn after the front wheel bearing seized that was it, I had resolved myself to the fact that I would never drive the car again. We all know I was wrong.
