Dirt trackers are the real deal.....if you can race and win on the dirt, you can drive NASCAR anyday... Tony Stewart grew up on the dirt tracks, nothing else will make a better driver out of you. Great vid !!! I was hoping he would get on it a little more.....

Thanks, it was fun to watch!

  6. Makes me want to go back to a local dirttrack:D... I like to take newbies from time to time and have 'em sit at turn one.....so many ponchos in the stands it looks like a cross between Woodstock and a Gallagher concert....nothing like a stone to the forehead.

I grew up where we have alot of dirt roads and covered bridges and one really wicked right turn that whips into a covered bridge out the other side and a quick 90 to the left.......a '77 Olds Vista cruiser wagon will sorta fit sideways in the opening of the bridge....sorta. I had some explaining on the scrapes on that one but by the end of the summer I had it slid through sideways tires spinnin' motor screaming through the bridge and both corners and every kid riding with me screaming their fool heads off!

Totally forgot about that...I'm smiling as I type this.....It's been a while Thanks Kiwi-Kev

  7. I just discovered it even better watching the video in a chair that swivels:D
Thanks for the flashback Ron. My first ride in a FAST car was Dave's Chevy. I gained alot of respect fo small block Chevys that day, that thing just revved its guts out and seemed to want wanted more and more.

Kiwi Kev, By posting that video you have made me go through withdrawals. I just sold all my racing stuff and am trying to shake the habit!! This is a major set back to my rehab program. I figured if i quit racing i would have more time to work on my hot rods.. By the way, Cory Kruseman drove this car a few times. I think it is the only wing sprinter he ever tried. He won the heat race in it. He is a nice guy and one hell of a racer. If any one ever has the chance to try his school DO IT! It will be the most fun you ever had on four wheels. Here is a pic of my car and one from my "Oh*****" file. In the air but it did not go over.
