A friend wanted help with striping his wheels, as the paint I gave him; one-shot, was drying to fast. I gave him some Penetrol. This is a product
that not only slows drying, but it streghthens the paint film for longer lived
striping job. Washing & polishing really eat away at striping & lettering. As a
signpainter, I wanted things to last. Unfortunately in California you can't get
the good; although somewhat smelly, turpentine thinner anymore. This product gave oil based paints a great slipperiness which really helped to pull
nice long lines. Penetrol will also help eliminate brush marks.

I guess I'll saddle up my horse and ride into town

    Hey,

Check the ''fine art supply '' stores for turps. Winsor Newton and some
of the other oil paint companies still sell it, small bottles and tall coin,
    but they still sell it.
