I used chemical stripper on my '55. It's easy enough that anyone can do it- just read & follow the instructions. Additionally, it's a pretty mindless task, so you can do it late at night when you're tired and Momma & the kids are in bed so they won't interrupt.

chemical stripping = messy, smelly, time consuming.

wire brush on an angle grinder = messy, loud, time consuming, loud... did i mention loud?

plastic bead blasting = money. (possible damage also by inexperienced*****er)...

having now stripped two cars at home, all projects from this day forward are going to the bead blasters.

  9. Brush if you need any help in dealing with Brian (Nasco)....I can do some leg work here in London for ya (ie. pricing, info, directions, picking up etc.)......let me know.......he's done fine work for me in the past!
