aircraft stripper rules, just make sure it has the lil red stripe at the top of the can that says "DOES NOT MEET FREDERAL...blah blah blah" because walmart and autozone sell the same stuff, with out the red stripe but its not as strong.

the good stuf will burn your skin on contact and eat yoor skin if you dont remove it after it starts burning...

    good luck!

The reason aircraft stripper doesn't meet federal requirements, is it doesn't meet federal aviation requirements because it eats zinc. Used to prevent deterioration in lots of steel fasteners especially around aircraft landing gear.
It's a damn good paint stripper if you don't plan to fly.
I prefer to use gasket stripper though.
You spray it on and everything but baked enamel wipes off.
I have found the occasional paint that can resist it, but they are rare.
Being a spray is useful, it gets in where ever you want it.
Powder coat peels off. Bodo takes a few applications but it'll get that too.

    10 to maybe 20 minutes.
Sometimes it's damn near instantaneous, other times it takes a while.
I put all my pieces into a barrel and drop a lid on it to keep the fumes in.
