stroke 262 ci

Hello all,
I would like to stroke my 262ci chevy.A friend of mine tell me it's possible with 305's cranshaft and rods.Did you confirm and about the pistons??

Well, the rods are the same. But, the crank will fit but it may have to be re-balanced since the 262's pistons are a little smaller and lighter.

All that work just to get 295 inches.

Suggest leaving the 262 alone or getting a crate engine; i'm sure summit and jegs can ship to France.
