as stated, be sure to follow Doctor's instructions. hope that it was not a full on stroke. a TIA, nick named a minor stroke, has fewer long term affects. that is what I had close to 20 years ago. left it's mark on me but, still going strong. at least just stop by here to read and keep up on the latest stuff. Take Care

I was hoping your post was going to ask which bore to use with which stroke, but alas, it was not what I hoped for. Get plenty of rest and enjoy life as much as you can, prayers for you, and your loved ones.

My dad had a stroke and when I visited him in the hospital, he was laying there with no TV , no Radio etc etc.
I couldn't stand this so I purchased laptop for him and hooked it up to the internet.

The hospital staff confiscated it from him [which pissed me off] so I confronted them.
They handed me back the computer with a very good explanation.

With a stroke or any other brain injury they need boredom as part of the healing process [they try to reduce brain activity]
In some cases the patient is put into a medically induced coma.

My computer while being a nice gesture could've been counter productive.

@34Larry please take it easy ...... You will need time
    And get well

I find the above very interesting. And after thinking about it, it makes perfect sense.

Yessir Larry, don't be hiding from life.
Weakness due to avoiding it, can become permanent.

    I suggested you hang around.
    But after the post from
    @Kerrynzl
    I'm thinking better of it.
You do whatever the doctors encourage you to do.
And we'll all be looking forward to seeing you again and with a little more spring in your step.

Your timing is awful @34Larry , not that there is a good time for such things but Ryan added an Off Topic forum where you can post your entire 34 build thread for us to see. I'll be looking for you there.

Sorry to hear this. I'm glad to hear you came out of it O.K. Listen to your Dr. and take it slow. I had a stroke last October at the age of 60 and it took 40% of my eyesight.
