That's good news and glad you have a support system to help out. You did good.

Get back to Rodding soon, it will still be here when the DR clears you to drive again. A good hotrod ride will help give you a goal and reward for doing great.

    Were all pulling for ya!

Hang in there and follow Dr's orders. Had a stroke last June, rt arm and leg had no function. Went to rehab and followed Dr's and therapists orders. No mental effects and 85-90% of functions back-slow and steady improvements.

Hi Larry, glad to hear you're doing well. My hat's off to Lori for helping you and Jan. My Dr. told me I shouldn't drive also after my stroke and partial loss of sight. I told him the same thing I tell everyone else, if you don't like my driving, stay off the sidewalk!!! Just kidding!!!

Keep fighting the good fight! I walked away from a massive stroke about 22 years ago at the age of 37 that should have planted me. York Hospital ran some tests and sent me to Boston to see a specialist because I was (and still am) perfectly healthy with no risk factors and in great shape (running/biking, eat right, don't smoke or drink, ect), so they had nothing to go on. The doctor in Boston looked at the MRIs and told me for the amount of brain damage I suffered I shouldn't even be functional and that it should have killed me. He said I was a walking medical miracle, had only seen a couple other cases like mine. I still feel it a bit on my left side, stairs are problematic for me (vertigo climbing them, so I try to avoid them), and I get easily confused/disoriented in loud/busy environments, something else that I try to avoid. I like to think that God decided to keep me around for the entertainment value.

As others have said FIGHT! This past April I suffered two strokes. Killed the right side a bit, but I'm back walking abet a little vertigo. The Doc was surprised with my recovery, but there wasnt a moment I was'nt trying to move and excercise. You'll get better.

Larry glad to hear you and yours are doing ok, selling the car is the end of one chapter in your life however it’s also the beginning of a new chapter hang around ,stop in and chat with us occasionally. I’m interested in seeing this new chapter. Ryan started an Off Topic forum, don’t know your feelings on muscle cars and the like but this forum has advertising, Ryan is thinking about using that revenue for maybe sponsoring a young person building a traditional Hot Rod or something like that. Guys like you who have done that, been there and have the tee shirt would be great for a new person. I’ve rambled long enough God bless and take care.
