Stromberg Aeroquad 4a

I have searched the forum and can't find an answer to my question. A friend is working on two Stromberg 4 barrels and the accelerator pumps are no good. I have 2 nos Stromberg accelerator pumps GM part # 1163368 that are for a '53 and '54 Buick supposedly. I am not for sure if these were for a 2 or 4 barrel Stromberg. Does anyone know if they will interchange? Thanks

 

If anyone was interested, those accelerator pumps will work. Now we are looking for the float hangars and a needle and seat. Does anyone know where you can buy parts for these things? Thanks

Try Carbking on here. I don't know if he sells small parts, but he runs a carb rebuild shop.

 

Try stromberg themselves??

 

I'm sure that some parts stores are better than others, but I'm a little afraid that our local parts stores would have no clue what a '53 Stromberg 4 barrel is. They can only find stuff if it is listed in their computer around here.

I will try carbking and I didn't even know you could get anything from Stromberg. Thanks for the information.

 

It's no wonder parts stores don't have a listing on the Stromberg aeroquad; it was only used on '52-'54 Buicks.
