stromberg carb query overflowin with fuel

Yeah, mate. An original 97. Hard to believe this carbi is sixty years old, it's still very tight with very little play. Made em tough in those days.

 

Yeah, I probably should have ditched the old fuel lines and got some new lines, but being a tight ****, kept the old lines. Just got one filter sitting before the regulator at the moment. Running the fuel thru a new drum, so she should be grit free. Eventually when I hook it up to the actual tank, I'll run one from the tank to the electric pump and keep the other one before the regulator.
I was gonna fire up the old girl tonight but had to go damned grocery shopping and I get home in the dark anyways.
