Hot Rods Stromberg E fire Ford flathead distributor

    All Stromberg products are available from a bunch of different vendors in the US.

    One would be Tim Mcmaster (mctim64)
    at Hanford Auto.

    Interesting. I wonder what kind of advance this is using along with cost?

    I,m curious if you can run a generator with one of these.
    I,ve had issues before with an electronic ignition requiring more voltage than a generator can provide

    The spikes can be the problem with a generator , not the Voltage .
    I would not have any worries with Stromberg parts
    They stand behind their products

    I run a generator with an MSD. no problems what so ever.
    Did blow out a 6AL ignition control box during a battery jump. Yes be careful with spikes. But they can happen in the system even with a alternator.
