Stromberg SP Top Instructions. Anyone...???

    I've just picked up a pair of SP Stromberg top's secondhand.

    I noticed that in the sacremento Vintage Ford catalog that they come with some sort of instructions, but I can't make out what they say.

    Could anyone out there scan them for me?

    These ones, but mine are the repro ones.

    If no one comes through with the instructions, I bet they have to do with the fast idle linkage. With no choke and hence no anchor for the linkage, your idle screw will be just flopping around in the breeze. I think procedure is going to involve cutting off the vertical link and tacking it solid.

    I believe your right about it being for the fast idle linkage.

    The thing is there is still an anchor point for the linkage, but obviously theres no choke connected to it anymore.
