Good morning every one. A good friend of mine is a menber and showed me the web site, said it would be helpful with my project. I am working on a 51 studebaker pick up hope to some before i die finish it and feel the rush of the drive
Cool! Lots of Stude guys in here. I'm working on a '47 pickup. If you're looking for parts there is a huge Studebaker only swap meet the first weekend of May in South Bend. If you're where I think you are, it's not much of a drive for you.
Go to the events section of The Studebaker Drivers Club website. ( http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com ) For any folks interested in Stude stuff there is a huge Studebaker swap meet in York, PA in March as well. You can find the details on that same website. Stubaker 1 -- Congrats on your pickup. I had a '50 2R6 that I really loved a lot. I now have a '61 that I have lots of fun with. Studebaker trucks are out of the mainstream enough that they get lots of positive attention.
Welcome Studebaker1 ! IMHO I think the '49 - 53s are the prettiest of the lot. How far do you want to take your pup? Here's a pic of my '50.
Welcome! I don't post much, but I know where you're coming from. I'm still collecting parts a little at a time for my Stude PU project that I would like to take a ride in someday too! L7
Welcome to another Studey owner...I had a Starlight coop in HS...and still have a Studey in my life...have since 1977...here's my current hot rod... R-
Welcome fellow Stude lover. Stude trucks are the best looking around. I have a 49 2R15, the big wheel version. Just a beater now, but someday...
Welcome from another Stude guy. 1950 Champion 4 door (my first car), and a 1954 R3 pick up (was my wife's grandfather's)
