Hey guys, I just noticed that I have a Ford dip stick in my motor and I am curious if any of you Studebaker guys could measure your dip stick for me, so I can see if mine is remotely close.

    Thanks in advance,

Change the oil, put in all but 1 qt, start it up, run for a minute, shut it off and check the oil. mark the stick. add the other qt and mark the stick..

  3. You know the Stude 289 and Ford 289 have Absolutley nothing in common besides the ci.

I did what TomWar says when I cut down my Stude holder to clear the headers.
