Technical Stude instrument panel in a Deuce

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by deucepickup32, Feb 11, 2024.

  1. I found a 53-54 Studbaker Champion instrument panel with gages this morning on marketplace. Lots of posts on different gages in a Deuce and was thinking this would look good. Haven’t got it home yet or a panel to put it in but one piece at a time.

  3. Looks to be in great condition....and something different in a Deuce.
Naturally it will need to fit in with your overall build theme for this car.

  4. You know, it took me several hours to pull the trigger on it as the car I am buying has a great instrument panel in it. It was to good of a deal to pass up and it just looks fantastic.

Now you need the correct senders for the fuel gauge, temp gauge and oil pressure if not mechanical gauges,

  6. Yes and will determine when I have something to put it in.

That caught my attention. I have a complete dash from my 53 and thought it looked nice but, I liked a Hawk dash a little better, maybe I'll keep mine for a future project, thanks for making me think outside of "the box":)

  8. It was an impulse buy as it was cheap and looks to be in excellent condition. So many bellybutton cars out there so need to be different in ways.

    Pics of the car please.

  12. Nice unit. How about a turn around and extend the chrome strips that fit in the recess to full width of your dashboard.

I was talking about the panel I linked to in the post.

  16. Sorry and missed that part. In the process of buying the car and not publicly posting it at this time. As the saying goes, please standby for further updates.
