    A week late getting it in the air, but here it is.

    Man, I gotta lot of work to do...

    Some interesting things... 3-speed corvette box with electic OD. Prehistoric "Cal-trac" type bars from the spring perch to the front spring eye. Axle retainers around the drum. Bendix electric fuel pump. Surprisingly, being stored in a dirt-floored barn for a number of years didnt ADD to the surface rust situation underneath.

    The old man is the one in the Lions club jacket. He lives less than 2 miles away, and he's in on it now, but very excited. Other guy is the one that bought the Lingenfelter Corvette that I had.

    Any Stude guys know the location of the VIN on the Stude?

    The tow bar is visible on the ground in one of the pics.

    Rearend is a stock, wimpy unit that will get replaced by an 8.5 GM or 9" ford. Wont be too hard. 56" outside from drum to drum, 41.5" centers on the spring perches.

    Some Stude Id numbers are on a plate attached to the driver's door...mine on my '40 Commander was (is?)...others are stamped into the passenger's side frame...

    The number on my 54 is in the front of the driver's door jamb.
