What brand and where can I buy fender well headers for my 56 Studebaker pickup. It's a small block Chevy. Anyone else put them on their's. Thanks, Keith.
That's a tough one to determine, as I doubt there will be anyone else who's done fenderwell headers in a Stude with SBC. I've used Patriot "fat fender Chevy" headers on several vehicles. They seem to be a good generic fit for quite a few applications, and I'm guessing they will either fit great, or be close enough they wont need much modification. They're also very reasonably priced at around $225 from Speedway, Summit, or others.
Thank you, that is what I was thinking too on the Fat Fendered headers. I have a lot of open area since the frame isn't stock Studebaker and the inner fender wells can be removed easily.
i'm thinking of the same thing for my 50 coupe. looks like the only issue i might have is the master cylinder.
Check out Shoenfeld Headers they make a IMCA adjustable header for a smallblock Chevy that is a fenderwell and you can choose what degree of angle you want your collectors, pretty Cool setup, and they have the same setup for smallblock Fords too: http://www.schoenfeldheaders.com/imca_mod.htm Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B.
